Academic Angélica de Assis Barbosa Bessa Vieira served as the Legal Officer of the NGO Augusto Abrigo for over a decade, where she was also responsible for the adoption of more than 300 animals, including dogs, cats, and horses. This is the work she is most proud of, due to the importance of recognizing animals as sentient beings.
As a Legal Psychologist and Clinical Psychoanalyst, she dedicates her therapeutic sessions and mentoring especially to women who have suffered psychological abuse from childhood to the present day, working in the Federal District and in Goiás.
A businesswoman, theologian, and systemic therapist, she delivers talks on overcoming adversity, addressing themes such as the transformation of difficulties into accomplishments, self-responsibility, and self-respect.
