Dr. Annelise Maria de Oliveira Wilken de Abreu is an Immortal Academic of ABRASCI, occupying Chair No. 44. A Professor Doctor at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Campos dos Goytacazes (FMC), she holds a distinguished career in both medicine and academia.
She is nationally recognized as a pioneer in the treatment of toxoplasmosis, making a decisive contribution to scientific and clinical advancement in this field in Brazil. In December 2025, she celebrated her Golden Jubilee, marking 50 years since her graduation from FMC.
A pediatric physician, she is a doctoral candidate and Full Professor of the disciplines of Histology and Embryology, having built a career of excellence dedicated to teaching, research, and the training of generations of healthcare professionals.
