ABOUT ME

Academic Antônio Cláudio dos Santos Lucas is a Commendator of ABRASCI – Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Arts, History and Literature, and Doctor Honoris Causa from the Brazilian Institute of Chaplaincy. A priest of the Ilê Axé Nitó Omin Odé, of African heritage, he has dedicated over 30 years to the valorization of Afro-Brazilian culture and to social causes. He served as proponent, co-author, and manager of various social projects, and has held the roles of social mediator and artistic director of cultural initiatives. He is also a Business Administration Technician and a nursing professional.
