ABOUT ME

Academic Antonio Ricardo de Oliveira is a physiotherapist with an extensive national and international career in rehabilitation and sports medicine. He currently serves as Technical Director at Clínica Equilíbrio Corporal and as Technical Supervisor of the Physiotherapy & Recuperação Recreio unit, affiliated with the Centro de Futebol Zico (CFZ). Throughout his career, he served as physiotherapist for the Professional Football Department of Al Rayyan Sports Club in Qatar, in partnership with ASPETAR – Qatar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital. He also worked as physiotherapist for the Japanese national football team, serving in the Health Department during the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. He spent four years with the Japan Football Association (JFA) and worked for approximately ten years at Kashima Antlers, a traditional club in Japanese football. In Brazil, he was physiotherapist for the CFZ Football Department and was part of the team at the Associação Brasileira Beneficente de Reabilitação (ABBR), working in the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) sector. He graduated from the Faculty of Rehabilitation of FRASCE in 1988, with a postgraduate specialization in Physiotherapy from the same institution in partnership with UFRJ, completed in 1990. He also holds a specialization in Human Anatomy.
