Academic Bergson Mendonça Figueiredo holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology from the Catholic University of Brasília, complemented by a Teaching Degree in Philosophy with an emphasis in Sociology and History from the same institution. He later specialized in Higher Education Teaching in the Brazilian capital.
In 2008, he completed his Bachelor's in Law from Universidade Paulista, also in Brasília.
Throughout his professional career, he has served in prominent roles as a Philosophy and Sociology teacher at the secondary level at Colégio Marista Champagnat in Taguatinga, as well as teaching Philosophy at the secondary level at the Federal District State Education Secretariat.
He currently holds the position of Regional Education Coordinator in Ceilândia, at the Regional Unit for Educational Planning and Educational Technology.
In recognition of his outstanding services and contributions to education, he was honored with the title of Doctor Honoris Causa from UNISCECAP in Brasília in 2023.
