ABOUT ME
Carlos Eduardo Costa Oliveira was born on October 16, 1978, in the eastern zone of São Paulo, and learned from an early age that discipline, effort, and resilience were essential to overcoming challenges. The youngest child of a modest family, he began working at age 13, and at 17 discovered his passion for technology. He built a career at major financial institutions and prominent companies, rising to Senior Manager at Universo Online (UOL), where he worked for nearly a decade.
In 2022, already based in Florida, he founded VBOLD LLC, which quickly secured clients such as Eveo Data Center, UOL, and PagBank, and established international partnerships with companies such as Canonical and Cohesity & Veritas. Two years later, he launched VBOLD LTDA in Brazil, serving clients such as Banco Sofisa, B3, and CS Global IT. Throughout his career, he has earned 18 international certifications, a Law degree with bar admission, a postgraduate specialization in Cloud Computing, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Global Business with an emphasis on Data Privacy in the United States.
He is the author of the book Navigating the Challenges of Information Security, published in five countries, and works as a speaker, EXIN certification instructor, and active member of organizations such as Mensa International and APDAdos, where he has served as Vice-President since 2024. He was inducted as an Immortal of ABRASCI, taking Chair No. 15, and in 2025 received the Honoris Causa title in Exact Sciences from WCU. His career inspires through the union of technical knowledge, leadership, and human values, transforming technology into a tool of social impact and legacy.
