Academic Cecília Alves da Silva, attorney and conflict mediator, is President of the Mediation and Arbitration Commission and Chamber of the OAB in Duque de Caxias. A professor, she is dedicated to teaching and disseminating labor law and procedure, with recognized work in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. She works with the Public Defenders' Office as a mediator and knowledge multiplier. Daughter of the late Francisco Maurício and Dr. Maria Elisabete, and sister of Dr. Celina, she honors the legal legacy and principles of her family. A defender of animal welfare, especially cats, and a lover of the arts, she believes that dialogue and cultural sensitivity transform realities.
