ABOUT ME
Academic Daniel Ivo Odon is an attorney and law professor, graduated in Law from the University Center of Brasília (UniCEUB); a Theology student at Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul; holds a postgraduate degree in Law from Universidade Cândido Mendes; a Master's in Constitutional Law from the Brasília Institute of Public Law (IDP); a Doctorate in Legal Science from Pennsylvania State University in the United States; and is a postdoctoral candidate in Social Human Rights at the University of Salamanca in Spain. He is the author of several scientific articles published in Brazil, Colombia, and the United States, and of books published in Brazil and the United States. He was a substitute professor of Legal Theory at the University of Brasília (UnB) and an assistant professor of International Human Rights at Pennsylvania State University in the United States. He is the winner of the Maurício Corrêa Human Rights Award from OAB/DF and also served as President of the Animal Rights Protection Commission of OAB/DF. He was Attorney General of the National Supply Company (CONAB) and a human rights advisor at the Ministry of Human Rights.
