Academic Daniel Piau de Lima is an Agronomic Engineer from Universidade de Patos de Minas (UNIPAM), an Executive MBA candidate in Consulting and Business Planning, and CEO and majority partner of Superar Empreendimentos Ltda. He has spent twenty years leading major developments. He teaches courses, lectures, and provides consulting focused on: strategic planning; business feasibility; team management; and the use of technological tools for operational efficiency and innovation.
About his patron: Carlos Alves de Seixas was a renowned Brazilian agronomic engineer, graduated in the first class of ESALQ/USP in 1937. He worked at the Biological Institute of São Paulo, where he developed important pest-control methods, such as for the coffee borer and locusts. He was a pioneer in the use of agricultural aviation in Brazil and Technical Director of Nortox, a traditional company in the agrochemical sector. He participated in the Constitutionalist Revolution of 1932, in which he was wounded in combat. He worked actively until the age of 100, maintaining an office on Avenida Paulista. He passed away on August 6, 2015, and was honored for his notable contribution to Brazilian agronomy.
