Academic Demétrio Martins, born on June 30, 1969, in Rio de Janeiro, is a Brazilian pastor and community leader, married to missionary Marta da Rocha Martins for 25 years. With 24 years of experience as a pastor at the Assembleia de Deus Church – Sol da Justiça Ministry, he graduated in Theology from IBADERJ and became a Justice of the Peace and Chaplain through CONAJUPE. He is an active member of several associations, including COMEBE and ABEMA, and has made significant contributions to social work and the rehabilitation of inmates. Demétrio is internationally recognized for his lectures on drugs and has received various awards and honors, including a medal at the TCU from ABRASCI. He continues to serve as a teacher and speaker, training chaplains and promoting projects of hope in the community.
