Academic Edson Ramuth holds a medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Santa Casa de São Paulo (1984), a specialization in Plastic Surgery (1990) from HSPM, and an Executive MBA in Marketing from ESPM (2000). He is the founder and president of Rede Emagrecentro, the largest weight loss and aesthetics clinic network in Brazil, with over 430 units in Brazil, the USA, Spain, and Paraguay, and more than 4 million clients served. With 38 years of activity, the Emagrecentro network has won numerous franchising excellence awards from the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF), including the title of Best Franchise in the World in Services (2013) in Florence, Italy, and Best-Performing Franchise in Brazil in 2024 by Pequenas Empresas Grandes Negócios magazine on Rede Globo. Edson is the creator of the "4 Phases Method," a proprietary weight loss methodology with a scientific paper published in the international health journal Healthcare. He holds numerous national and international certifications and is a member of the Brazilian Association of Aesthetic Medicine and the Brazilian Association of Nutrology.
