Academic Eliane de Oliveira Guedes de Aguiar holds a degree in Physiotherapy from UCB/RJ and is a specialist in Women's Health and Urogynecology, with a Master's in Human Motor Science and a Doctorate in Health Sciences from UERJ. A civil servant of the Ministry of Health, she has international practical training and extensive teaching experience at institutions such as Universidade Estácio de Sá, Centro Universitário Moacyr Sreder Bastos, IBMR, and FABA. She established the Urogynecological Physiotherapy Service at Santa Casa de Misericórdia in Rio de Janeiro, introduced professional physiotherapy training at the maternity ward of Hospital Municipal Pedro II, and volunteered at HFSE/RJ. She is responsible for the Urogynecological Physiotherapy Service at Hospital Municipal da Piedade and coordinates the Postgraduate Program in Urogynecology and Obstetrics at Interfisio-RJ.
