Elton Dantas da Costa, born in Recife (PE) on May 28, 1986, is married to Elâine Maria Silva Roque da Costa, a nurse and public servant, with whom he has two daughters: Giovanna Letícia and Gabrielle Beatriz Dantas da Costa. Graduated in Letters – Portuguese/Spanish from FAFIRE, he holds specializations in Translation (FAFIRE/PE), Theology (FAMESP/SP), Discourse Analysis and Semiotics (FAMEESP), and an MBA in Public and Private Security from Faculdade América Latina (FAL). He is a Judicial Expert and Graphologist certified by CONPEJ (RJ), serving at the 1st Civil Court of Jaboatão dos Guararapes, and also an Investigative Expert in Facial and Body Language through IBRAMAC. He works as a Portuguese Language teacher, serving as faculty at the Presbyterian Mackenzie Institute (2025) and as a state public servant at the Pernambuco Department of Education. He began his teaching career in 2006, teaching language arts at elementary and secondary schools and at NGOs, with instruction in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, accumulating over 15 years of teaching experience. He is a proofreader, translator, and author of Portuguese language textbooks, collaborating with Editoras Construir and Monte Cristo, both based in Recife. Since 2018, he has directed Costa Dantas, a company specializing in translation and textual revision, with over 110 completed projects totaling more than 200,000 words reviewed. Since 2014, he has also worked in extrajudicial arbitration and conciliation of conflicts, serving as arbitrator and conciliator through IBRAMAC (PE). In 2025, he joined the Peace and Justice Commission of OAB/PE – Jaboatão dos Guararapes subsection. He is a member of the ABRASCI Ethics Commission and of the Editorial Board of Revista Akademus. A writer with a recognized literary output, he co-authored more than twenty national and international poetry and literary anthologies, including tributes to Luís Vaz de Camões, Machado de Assis, Mário de Andrade, Don Quixote, and Dostoevsky. He is the author of Salmodiai (Editora Baronesa, 2022) and has a forthcoming publication of Dias de Milagres: História da Pequena Vida, scheduled for 2026. He belongs to various literary and cultural academies, most notably as an Immortal Academic of ABRASCI (Chair No. 10, patron Dr. Amaro Quintas), International Immortal Academic of FEBACLA, Immortal of Academie Luminescense (Paris – Brazil), and founding member of important artistic and literary fellowships. Throughout his career, he has received numerous national and international commendations, medals, and awards, including the title of Cultural Heritage Bastion of the Northeastern Culture, the Northeast Highlight Award, the Medal of Notable Cultural Knowledge, the Health Heroes Medal (ABRASCI), and the Pernambuco de Ouro Commendation, granted in 2025 for the 100th anniversary of Diário de Pernambuco. Since 2015, he has also been a member of the Gideons International Ministry, maintaining active engagement in educational, cultural, academic, and literary spheres, with a significant contribution to the valorization of the Portuguese language, Northeastern culture, and Brazilian intellectual production.
