Academic Emerson Furtado Nogueira de Souza, known as Kadu da Farmácia, is a biochemist pharmacist born in São Paulo on January 31, 1982. Now 42, married, and the father of three, his career began in 1995 at Drogaria Hipólito, under the positive influence of João Carlos Hipólito (in memoriam), and later at Drogaria Chilo, under the guidance of Maria Inês Dalge Chilo (in memoriam).
In 2012, Kadu entered public office, being elected City Councilman in 2016 and re-elected in 2020 for the Republicanos party, also assuming the role of City Council President. He works daily on behalf of public health, social assistance, and employment, addressing the community's diverse needs.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kadu stood out on the front lines, collecting blood samples for USP studies aimed at understanding the disease's progression. He also provided personalized pharmaceutical care to patients and their families, demonstrating his commitment to the community.
Trained as a pharmacist and biochemist, Kadu da Farmácia continues to play an essential role in promoting well-being, combining his professional expertise with social commitment.
