Academic Erika Maria Rebello Marra, a City Councilwoman serving her 2nd term and President of the Special Prosecutor's Office for Women of the City Council, distinguishes herself in sports, the promotion of physical activity, education, the environment, and women's rights. A former professional volleyball athlete, physical education professional, and businesswoman, she previously headed the Municipal Department of Sports and Leisure in 2018, offering 36 sports and recreational programs to the population, and returns to the position in 2025 at the invitation of Mayor Leonardo Vasconcellos. Founder of Complexo Desportivo Marra and creator of the Transformando Vidas (Transforming Lives) project, she has already benefited thousands of people, from babies to seniors, through sports and physical activity.
