Academic Everaldo Antônio de Jesus is a postdoctoral candidate in Human Rights at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. He holds a Doctorate in Education from FICS/UFAL and a Master's in Education. He defended his doctoral thesis titled "Educational Public Policies as an Instrument for the Recovery of Inmates in the Prison System." A true defender of human rights in the resocialization, reintegration, and socialization of inmates within the prison system, he has more than 20 years of experience working in education within the Federal District's prison system. He is the author of several articles published in various CNPq/CAPES-indexed scientific journals.
