ABOUT ME
Academic Fabio Cesar de Souza Azevedo, born in Rio de Janeiro, son of the two most important people in his life, Marina de Souza Azevedo and Jose da Conceição Azevedo. He graduated in Physiotherapy from Universidade Castelo Branco in 1998, with postgraduate specializations in Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Sports Physiotherapy, Public Health Management, and Neuroscience. He is a member of the National Society of Sports Physiotherapy and of the Brazilian Association of Traumatology and Orthopedic Physiotherapy. Throughout his professional career, he has dedicated himself to the city's social projects. A university professor, he coordinated the Physiotherapy program at Universidade Estácio de Sá for 10 years. He then joined Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas as a physiotherapist, where he was called up 12 times to serve the Brazilian national football team. He now coordinates the club's physiotherapy department, which led Botafogo to the title of Brazilian Championship and 2024 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores champion.
