ABOUT ME
Academic Fábio Fernandes Tosta Rodrigues is a multifaceted professional working as a Mathematics teacher, educational manager, school counselor, writer, and entrepreneur in the education sector. With an extensive 34-year career at various institutions — including the Compacto Education Network, Colégio CorJesus, Colégio Mackenzie de Brasília, Colégio Marista, Colégio Sigma, Centro Educacional La Salle, Civil Police preparatory courses, and Instituto Processus — he has distinguished himself in the construction, development, and application of mathematics education at all levels.
Throughout his career, Fábio Tosta Rodrigues has adopted innovative approaches, creating educational games and interdisciplinary mathematics fairs. Using school spaces such as sports courts and swimming pools, he contextualizes mathematics by teaching measures of area, volume, mass, and capacity in a practical way. His methodology involves taking students to places such as markets and restaurants, providing hands-on experiences in financial mathematics and highlighting the importance of economics and investment.
In 2005, he realized his dream by founding his own school, known as Curso Professor Fabão. Since then, he has contributed to the education of over 5,000 approved and graduated students, and has influenced the training of more than 300 teachers. His goal as an educator is to help students understand mathematics, building knowledge and carrying the seed of education to the schools where his former students work as teachers.
