Academic Filipe Silvino de Pina Zau is a prominent Angolan intellectual, educator, and politician, working as a university professor, researcher, writer, composer, and musician, combining a highly significant multidisciplinary career. He currently serves as Minister of Culture of Angola, in addition to being a member of the Angolan Academy of Letters. His academic background is solid, with a degree in Education Sciences, a Master's in Intercultural Relations, and a Doctorate in Education Sciences. Throughout his career, he held important roles in education and culture, including positions at the Ministry of Education and in Angolan cultural diplomacy. He also had significant international experience, serving as Cultural Attaché in Portugal and advisor to organizations such as the CPLP and the UNDP. In academia, he served as Rector and Deputy Rector of universities, contributing to the development of higher education in Angola. In parallel, he distinguished himself in the artistic and literary fields, with poetic and musical works and studies on culture and development.
