Academic Frederico Arthur Pereira Nunes, born on December 23, 1980, in Rio de Janeiro, son of Sônia and Sérgio Nunes, graduated in Medicine from Universidade do Grande Rio in 2005. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 2008 and in Clinical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute (INCA) in 2011. In 2010, he participated in an observership program at the Harvard Cancer Center, focusing on genitourinary tumors. He worked in clinical research at Oncologistas Associados and at INCA. In 2014, he was a professor at Universidade do Grande Rio and completed preceptorships in Vienna and Boston. Between 2015 and 2016, he completed preceptorships at renowned institutions such as MD Anderson and the Cleveland Clinic. He completed his Master's at UFRJ in 2017 and worked as an oncologist at various institutions, including HUPE and Hospital Federal Cardoso Fontes, where he was Head of the Oncology Service from 2017 to 2019. Since 2022, he has been an oncologist at COI – Clínicas Oncológicas Integradas. He has participated in national and international congresses, published 19 scientific articles, and on August 20, 2024, took Chair 67 of the Academy of Medicine of Rio de Janeiro.
