ABOUT ME
Geórgia Bueno is a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist, holding a Master's in Psychology, with over 30 years of experience in mental health. She works with a strong psychoanalytic orientation, grounded in authors such as Freud, Winnicott, Bion, Melanie Klein, Dolto, and Fraiberg, integrating theory, clinical practice, and sensitivity in the care of individuals and families.
She has been a university professor for more than 20 years, with extensive experience training psychology professionals. She has a solid career supporting pregnant women, postpartum women, children, adolescents, and families, with particular emphasis on psychological prenatal care, the postpartum period, parenting, child development, gestational and perinatal loss, as well as neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
She is a partner and owner of Instituto Afeto, a clinical practice dedicated to holistic care and emotional development, where she coordinates appointments, therapeutic projects, psychoeducational groups, and interdisciplinary initiatives focused on childhood, family, and mental health.
Co-author of the books "Quando a Infância Dói" I and II, with texts focused on maternal mental health, and "Puerpério Sem Mistério," and co-author of chapters in works on poetry and contemporary clinical practice, Geórgia also works as a lecturer, clinical supervisor, and producer of scientific and psychoeducational content. Her work is marked by an advocacy for affection as the structuring axis of psychic development and human transformation.
