Academic Gustavo Augusto Freitas de Lima is a Commissioner of CADE, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense. Graduated in Law and Naval Sciences, he holds a postgraduate specialization in Public Law, a Master's in Law, and has completed courses at Harvard Law School and George Mason University. A Federal Attorney since 2006, he served as legal advisor to two Presidents of the Republic. He was an officer in the Marine Corps, where he received the award for first place in the Staff Officer Course for Intermediate Officers. A professor in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, he has served as an examiner on more than a hundred civil service examination boards.
