Iberê Luiz Di Tizio has built a successful personal and professional career. Son of Alberto Di Tizio and Iris Mercedes Michellin Ventura Di Tizio, he has a younger sister, Llara. Born on November 19, 1945, in São Paulo, SP.
Iberê married Ideli Raimundo Di Tizio in 1967 and has two children from this union, Imara and Iberê Jr., and three grandchildren, Enzo, Zion, and Brian.
He began his studies in the Ipiranga neighborhood at Colégio São Francisco Xavier, completed primary school (then called "ginásio") in Campinas at Liceu N.S. Auxiliadora, and finished it in São Caetano do Sul at the Instituto de Ensino de São Caetano do Sul, where he also completed secondary school (then called "científico").
Graduated in Economics in 1969 from the Faculdade de Ciências Econômicas de Santo André, he completed several postgraduate courses, a Master's, and a Doctorate from USP.

Dr. Iberê is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish.
He began his professional life as a bank employee at Banco São Caetano do Sul. He worked in materials control at General Motors do Brasil and in human resources management at Volkswagen do Brasil, where he held several management positions. He was also Director of the Faculdade de Ciências Econômicas e Administrativas de Santo André and Superintendent of Fundação Santo André.
In the corporate field, he was a partner-owner of Moveplan Móveis Planificados Ltda and Bait Construtora e Incorporadora Ltda, both in São Caetano do Sul.
He received numerous honors during his career, including: Knight Officer of the Sovereign Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta; Collar de Piedra de Borinquen; Master of the Honorary Orders of the Brazilian Chamber of Culture and Chancellor of the institution for the purpose of cultural exchange between Brazil and other countries, particularly Portugal; holder of the title of Duke of Montorio al Vomano, granted by Domus Augusta – the ancient and most august Imperial and Royal Apostolic House of the Romans, whose coat of arms is registered with the Vatican; Companion Paul Harris - Rotary Club International; Cross of Pedro I, Perpetual Defender of Brazil; Constitutionalist Cross of Honor; Cross of Philosophical and Cultural Merit, Official Medal of the State of São Paulo; Cross of Social and Cultural Recognition; he also received the Giuseppe Garibaldi Grand Collar; the Grand Cross of the Order of Saint Maurice of Thebes; the Médaille de Reconnaissance Franco-Américaine; the Bento Gonçalves Hero Medal; the Lion of Judah Medal; the Constitutionalist Merit Medal; the Saint Paul Medal; and the Holy Cross of the Byzantine Double-Headed Eagle Medal.
He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Arts, History and Literature, occupying Chair No. 27.
He is also a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and Arts, occupying Chair No. 7.
Professor Emeritus of the Faculdade de Ciências Econômicas e Administrativas de Santo André.
A Rotarian since 1982, he was elected club president on three occasions, and was also a founder of three Rotary clubs.
He was President of Clube 21 Irmãos Amigos de Santo André, an organization dedicated to promoting civic spirit and patriotism, and for six years was National President of the federation that unites these clubs.
Among his future projects is the publication of two books, one on the toponymic origins of neighborhood names in Santo André, and the other on the Brazilian National Anthem, aimed at elementary school students.
