Ildecer Meneses de Amorim is an attorney with a notable career in public law and an extensive institutional contribution in the areas of citizenship, consumer protection, and public management.
Graduated in Law from the Unified Education Center of Brasília (AEUDF) and holding postgraduate specializations in Civil Procedural Law and Labor Procedure, she has built a career focused on promoting social justice and strengthening public institutions. She held positions of high responsibility in the Federal District, including the presidency of PROCON/DF, a role in which she led efforts to protect and defend consumer rights, in addition to holding strategic legal and legislative advisory positions in agencies of the Federal District government and the Legislative Chamber.
Throughout her professional life, she also distinguished herself through her work with the Brazilian Bar Association, where she held leadership positions, served as a Sectional Board Member, President of a Thematic Commission, and member of the Ethics and Disciplinary Tribunal, always contributing to the improvement of legal practice and democratic institutions.
She served as Attorney General of the municipality of Senador Canedo, Goiás, a position she held until her retirement from public service, closing this chapter of her career with recognized dedication to legality, administrative ethics, and the collective interest.
Alongside her legal work, she has carried out academic and cultural activities, participating in congresses, seminars, and lectures focused on consumer law, citizenship, and social rights. Her admission to the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Arts, History and Literature (ABRASCI), as holder of Chair No. 13, named after jurist Djaci Falcão, represents the recognition of her intellectual and institutional contribution to Brazilian society.
