Academic José Cosme de Melo Filho is a happy Brazilian. He is 63 years old, having lived a full, intense, and meaningful life. A poor boy from the outskirts of Natal, RN, he had the grace of receiving great affection and support from his parents, which allowed him to be a dreaming child and face the world's challenges. Dreaming is his greatest specialty. From a young age, he began his professional career at Petrobras, where he worked for several years.
He later took on the challenge of becoming an attorney and faced many legal battles, in which he distinguished himself as a specialist in class action lawsuits.
Today he faces the greatest challenge of his life: creating a mutual health system to teach people to take care of themselves in the pursuit of promoting their own health and that of their loved ones.
And this is the legacy he dreams of leaving for the future, in which his three daughters — Débora, Amanda, and Ana — and his three granddaughters — Cecília, Laura, and Manuela — will live.
Finally, deep recognition goes to his friend, girlfriend, and wife, Sidya, for sharing the journey in pursuit of a full life.
