Academic José Wilson do Bomfim Lopes was educated in Belo Horizonte, then at UnB in Brasília, where he studied Medicine. He completed a postgraduate specialization in General Orthopedics, earning his title in 1982. He then pursued postgraduate studies in Pediatric Orthopedics and Foot Surgery. He has served as Technical Director of Hospital Daher Lago Sul for the past 14 years.
