Academic Luiz Felipe Proost de Souza was born in Santos, São Paulo, on September 17, 1946, and is a civil engineer graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. He also holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration, with extensive supplementary training in engineering, environmental management, occupational safety, and technical mediation. He earned a Master's in Environmental Sanitation, with research focused on environmental variables and the valuation of urban land. He has served as Director of Proost Engenharia de Avaliações, Projetos e Consultoria since 1989. He taught at the university level for four decades at prestigious institutions. He distinguished himself as a professor of forensic examination, appraisals, and timber structures. He works as a judicial expert at the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo. He is a member and leader of important national and international technical organizations. Founder of the Brazilian Chapter of FIABCI, he is also a columnist and speaker in the field of engineering.
