Academic Luiza Carolina Carneiro Barreiros was born on November 14, 1977, in the city of Patos de Minas, in the interior of Minas Gerais. Daughter of Antônio Avenir Barreiros (always present) and Wandenice Carneiro Barreiros, she grew up alongside her older brothers, Aureliano and Adriano. Wife of Marcio Miranda and mother of Helena. She graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 2005, as part of the Célio de Castro class (118th class). She specialized in Occupational Medicine, a field she has dedicated herself to since her student years. She is an official medical examiner for the Federal District government and currently serves as Deputy Secretary of Occupational Safety and Health for the Federal District Government.
