ABOUT ME
Academic Marcelo Barros da Cunha, in the academic field, is a Doctoral candidate in Constitutional Law at the Brazilian Institute of Teaching, Development and Research (IDP), holds a Master's in Law from Harvard Law School in the United States, and a Master's in Law, State and Constitution from the University of Brasília. He is also a Communications Engineer from the Military Institute of Engineering.
Since 2006, he has served as a Federal External Control Auditor at the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), where he has held the positions of Legal Consultant, Secretary of Audit for Privatization and Energy and Communications Regulation, Secretary of Audit for Civil Aviation and Communications Infrastructure, and Advisor to a Minister.
He has led various audits on topics relevant to national infrastructure, including quality, universal access, and tariff regulation of telecommunications services, digital inclusion, energy security, oil production and refining, and airport investments, among others.
He also held the position of Secretary of Transportation Coordination at the Investment Partnership Program of the Presidency of the Republic. Previously, he was a career officer in the Brazilian Army, in the Military Engineers Corps.
