ABOUT ME
Academic Dr. Márcia Maria Leobons Mossurunga, graduated in Medicine in Rio de Janeiro 45 years ago, began her career in surgery, completing a medical residency in Internal Medicine, General and Oncological Surgery, and later Plastic Surgery under the guidance of Dr. Ivo Pitanguy. When she moved to the capital, she decided to take a turn in her career and, as she herself says, began to "operate on the soul."
She holds various specializations and training, including Acupuncture, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, and Occupational Medicine. She is a lecturer, regularly performs forensic examinations, speaks three languages, and engages in volunteer work, which she considers her greatest source of health. She works at her practice, the Clínica Médica Oficina do Ser, where she practices integrative medicine of body, mind, and spirit.
She is married to Dr. Carlos Alberto Hernández Jr, a retired Justice Attorney of the São Paulo Public Prosecutor's Office, has 4 daughters, 4 grandchildren, loves traveling the world, loves ballet, and enjoys listening to quality music and dancing in her free time.
