Academic Marcos Fernandes Sobrinho is a Full Professor at the Federal Institute of Goiás, researcher, and jurist, with training in Physics, Philosophy, Business Administration, and Law, holding a career marked by interdisciplinarity and scientific rigor. Holding a Doctorate in Science and Mathematics Education from UnB and a post-doctorate in Public Law from the Universidad de Las Palmas (Spain), he has established himself as a reference in the dialogue between the exact, human, and legal sciences.
With an innovative profile, he serves as permanent faculty in stricto sensu postgraduate programs and sits on the editorial boards of high-impact national and international scientific journals and academic publishers. His contribution to national development was recognized in 2025 by the Goiás State Legislative Assembly, which awarded him the Certificate of Legislative Merit for his excellence in science and technology.
Author of a vast body of work spanning patents, software, books, and poetry, Dr. Marcos Fernandes coordinates strategic projects funded by the Goiás State Research Foundation (FAPEG), leading cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence, academic integrity, and social inclusion. His expertise, sought by the Ministry of Education (MEC/INEP) for analytical studies for the National Textbook Program (PNLD), reflects a career dedicated to excellence in teaching and control in public administration.
