Academic Marcus Antônio Silva Soares, a native of Rio de Janeiro, born in 1976, married and father of a daughter, enrolled in the Veiga de Almeida Law School in 1999 and completed his Law degree in 2004. He began his professional career in 2005, when he founded the law firm bearing his name, practicing in civil law. A specialist in Civil Law and Civil Procedure, Real Estate Law, and Management, attorney Marcus Soares was the first President of the Young OAB of Barra da Tijuca, in 2010. With the OAB Barra da Tijuca, he served as Attorney General (2013-2015), Vice-President (2016-2018), and President for two terms from 2019 until the end of 2024. With strong work in social assistance, he was elected President of APAE Rio, the first APAE in Brazil, with a term until the end of 2026. He is Financial Director of the State Federation of APAEs of Rio de Janeiro.
