Academic Maria Isabela Quadros Lima, a theater actress since the age of ten, briefly appeared on television in soap operas in 1978 and participated in film as an assistant director and actress in the 1980s. Starting in 1990, she joined Rádio Nacional FM as an announcer and later Super Rádio Tupi, as a radio actress in Rádio Tupi soap operas and the program Patrulha da Cidade, as well as a radio host and announcer at the now-defunct Tupi FM. In 1999, she moved into dubbing and worked on various films, soap operas, and animated shows at several dubbing studios in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. She was a TV announcer for Rádio Antena Um for three years. Holding a Bachelor's in Journalism, she taught voice classes at Faculdade Pinheiro Guimarães in the Social Communication program, and in addition to dubbing, has directed dubbing projects since 2010. A coach for TV actors, she has also taught dubbing, voice, and presentation classes since 2010 for voice actors and voice professionals.
