ABOUT ME

Academic Matheus Oliveira Portela holds a Law degree from the Brasília Institute of Public Law (IDP), a postgraduate specialization in Law and Procedural Practice in the Courts from the University Center of Brasília (UniCEUB), and additional training in 'Developmental Neuroscience'; 'Nonviolent Communication, Empathy and Cooperation'; 'Compliance and Data Protection' from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. He served as advisor to a Minister of the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU); is a professor of Civil and Criminal Procedural Law; a speaker specializing in domestic and family violence, having lectured at more than 100 public and private educational institutions in the Federal District; serves as Director, Secretary-General, and Project Manager of the international victim protection network Laço Branco Brasil; President of the Federal District Community Training and Social Assistance Institute (INCAS/DF); and a partner attorney with the Federal District Civil Police, working at the Integrated Centers for Women's Assistance (NUIAM's).
