Academic Moacyra Verônica Cavalcante Rocha Guañabens, daughter of Maria, a public school teacher, and Moacyr, a Justice Prosecutor and professor, married to Carlos Eduardo, affectionate mother of Lorena and Dudu, graduated in Architecture and Business Administration out of love and in Law after discovering her true calling. She began her career at the Court of Justice of Alagoas in 2005, working in various areas, and today serves as General Supervisor of the Permanent Center for Conflict Resolution Methods (NUPEMEC). She holds a Master's in Human Rights, is a professor at the School of the Judiciary, and is coordinator and professor of the Law program at two colleges. She and her husband lead a couples' ministry at Igreja Batista da Lagoinha. A writer with published books, throughout her career she has developed nationally recognized projects in the fields of mediation, conciliation, restorative justice, and human development.
