ABOUT ME

Academic Omar Nascimento da Apresentação is an attorney, holding a Doctorate in Legal-Social Sciences from the Universidad del Museo Social Argentino (UMSA) and a Master's in Law from UNIPAC. Graduated from Instituto Vianna Júnior, he holds several specializations, including in Military Law and Public Law. He was Director-General of the Military Public Ministry (2020-2024) and worked as a professor of Criminal Procedural Law in Brazil and Angola. He was part of the commission of jurists that drafted the project for Angola's new Military Penal Code. He held leadership positions in public policy, such as President of the Municipal Council on Drugs of Juiz de Fora and Coordinator of the Racial Equality Commission of the local OAB. He received various decorations, such as the Santos-Dumont Merit Medal and the Order of Military Judicial Merit. He currently remains active in legal practice and legal education.
