Academic Otavio Augusto de Araujo Costa Folha is an occupational therapist, graduated from the State University of Pará, holding a Master's in Neuroscience and Cell Biology from the Federal University of Pará and a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). He completed a sandwich doctorate at the University of Toronto (Canada). He is a professor at the Faculty of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy of UFPA and a collaborating faculty member in the Master's program in Occupation and Daily Life at UFTM. He coordinates the Study and Research Group on Occupational Therapy in the Amazon - ARVORETO and conducts research on human occupations and their interface with health and citizenship in the Amazonian context.
