Academic Patrícia Ferreira Figueiredo, a native of São Paulo, of Brazilian and Portuguese nationality, residing in the city of Porto since 2019, holds a Master's in Scientific and Technological Communication; a postgraduate specialization in Marketing; and is a specialist in University Administration from the Inter-American University Organization (Mexico and United States); she is an advertising professional and holds a Bachelor's in Social Communication, also certified by LEC – Legal, Ethics, Compliance, in corporate investigation, and by IBGC – the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance, in the areas of the People and Culture Committee, corporate governance, compliance, corporate ethics and integrity, and board of directors.
Throughout her career, she has balanced her academic and professional path with the important, challenging, and rewarding role of being the mother of four children. She established the marketing department at Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul, led several strategic and communications projects at renowned advertising agencies, and was an alternate member of the Board of Directors of Cruzeiro do Sul Educacional S/A for 10 years, accompanying the growth and development of this organization. She is currently a member of IBGC, a member of CoreAngels Atlantics – an angel investor fund supporting Brazilian startups focused on expansion into the European market – and a member of the People Committee and the Board of Directors of Cruzeiro do Sul Educacional S/A.
