ABOUT ME

He is an accountant, business administrator, graduated in Philosophy, and an attorney. He is also a Doctoral candidate and holds a Master's in Philosophy, and a Master's in Tax Law. He began his career at financial institutions, working as a trading floor and desk operator at Fininvest and later at J.P. Morgan in the operations area. He was an auditor and tax consultant at Arthur Andersen. He has professional experience as Controller at Mastercard; tax management for service, industrial, and retail companies, having worked at Carrefour, Grupo Alcoa, White Martins, and C&A. His responsibilities included tax litigation, planning, advisory, compliance management, corporate affairs, negotiations with government entities, among others. He works as an accounting expert and assistant accounting expert. He taught Strategic Tax Management and Tax Law at FECAP and FIA/USP, Accounting at FAAP, and served as coordinator of the postgraduate program in Tax and Constitutional Law at FADISP/ALFA and coordinator of the accounting program at Brain Business School. He was a member of fiscal and advisory councils of mid-sized foreign and Brazilian companies, as well as of IBMEC-RJ. He currently holds positions on boards and committees, notably: (a) ANEFAC, a non-profit organization where he serves as President, (b) the Teaching and Research Association - Origins of Contemporary Philosophy, a non-profit organization where he serves as Treasurer.
