An attorney with more than 18 years of practice in Brazil, certified since March 2025 as a foreign attorney registered in England and Wales. Holding a post-doctorate Honoris Causa in International Law from UNISCECAP and a Doctor Honoris Causa in Legal Sciences from World Christian University (WCU), she is a specialist in international law, with an emphasis on naturalization, reacquisition of Brazilian nationality, and the recognition of foreign judgments. She also works in social security law, focusing on international social security agreements.
Holding a Law degree from the Catholic University of Brasília, she holds specializations in Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Social Security Practice, Forensic Investigation, and Criminal Forensics, in addition to an MBA in International and Customs Legal Management. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Law and International Business from Universidad Europea del Atlántico. She participated in programs focused on global legal practice, such as the Global Business Management course from the Massachusetts Institute of Business and paralegal training in immigration, specializing in United States immigration processes.
She is actively involved institutionally in OAB/DF – Samambaia Subsection, where she has served as a board member and held leadership positions. In the 2022/2024 term, she was President of the Commission on International Relations and Immigration Law and Vice-President of the Women Attorneys Commission. In the current term (2025/2027), she was Deputy Secretary of the Women Attorneys Commission, Vice-President of the Social Security Law Commission, and currently serves as President of the International Law Commission. In addition, she is a member of the Special Commission on International Law of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association.
She is also part of the Brazilian Bar Association (ABA), where she has served since 2024 as Secretary-General of the International and Immigration Law Commission, in addition to serving as a member of the National Commission on Immigration Law and Global Mobility.
She is an Immortal Academic of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Arts, History and Literature (ABRASCI), where she occupies Chair No. 221. By the same institution, she was awarded the Secular Medal, the title of Professional Merit in Legal Sciences at the rank of Dame Commander, and, recently, the awarding of the ABRASCI Sword. Since August 2025, she has also served as a member of the Academy's Ethics Council.
Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to using law as an instrument of welcome and social transformation. For more than a decade, she worked at the Public Defenders' Office of the Federal District, providing legal assistance to vulnerable people. Based on her experience in the international field, she conceived the project Dignidade sem Fronteiras, aimed at welcoming migrants, refugees, and stateless persons in Brazil. She currently chairs the Instituto Dignum, the institution responsible for executing the first edition of this initiative. She believes that in legal practice, especially in the international field, technique and empathy go hand in hand.
