Graduated from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China, in 1987; Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Goiás, Brazil, in 2007. He obtained the federal medical license certificate and license to practice medicine in 2007. He is currently the only Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncturist in Brazil licensed to practice Western medicine.
