ABOUT ME

Academic Vitor Manuel Ferreira da Fonseca holds a Master's in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University (Chicago) and a Doctorate in Special Education and Rehabilitation from the University of Lisbon. He is a retired Full Professor of the Faculty of Human Kinetics at the University of Lisbon. He develops training programs in Spain, Italy, France, Angola, Argentina, Cuba, Mexico, and Brazil, where he is a guest professor at several public and private universities and a consultant for various clinical centers. He is a member of various organizations, including: the Scientific Council of the International Organization of Psychomotricity and Relaxation (Paris), the World Association of Child Psychomotricity, the International Committee for the Development of Human Potential (Jerusalem), the International Academy for Research in Learning Disabilities, the International Dyslexia Association, the European Association of Special Education, the International Association of Cognitive Education, the Portuguese Association of Psychomotricity, and the Portuguese Dyslexia Association, of which he was president. Author of 49 published books and more than 265 scientific articles with national and international publications, he is currently one of the greatest references in the field of psychomotricity and psychopedagogy in the world.
