Academic Vitor Pinto Chaves is President of the National Association of Federal Public Attorneys (ANAFE) and a Federal Attorney since 2006. Holding a Master's in Law, State and Constitution from the University of Brasília, he held prominent positions in federal public administration and at the Attorney General's Office, including Executive Secretary and Interim Minister of State Chief of the Secretariat of Strategic Affairs of the Presidency of the Republic. He was Regional Federal Attorney of the 1st Region and National Chief Attorney of DNIT and ICMBio. He is the author of the book O Direito à Assistência Social no Brasil (Elsevier, 2012) and of academic articles in the fields of constitutional law and legal theory. He worked as a professor and researcher at FGV Direito Rio.
