He holds international training in Global Postural Reeducation from the Université Internationale Permanente de Thérapie Manuelle Saint-Mont (France) and in flower therapies from the Dr. Edward Bach Foundation (England), which reinforces his integrative, humanized, and evidence-based approach to health care.
He serves as President of the Regional Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy of the 2nd Region, having been elected for the 2019-2023 term and re-elected for the 2023-2027 term. At the federal level, he played a prominent role as board member and Treasurer Director of the Federal Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, actively participating in the drafting and approval of historic resolutions that expanded professional autonomy, especially in the use of new technologies and integrative health practices.
He also served on the National Health Council, where he acted as coordinator of the Commission on Integrative and Complementary Health Practices, contributing to the formulation of strategic resolutions and recommendations. Among his main achievements is the inclusion of acupuncture specialist professionals in the SUS fee schedule, strengthening the institutional recognition of these practices in the public health system.
Alongside his institutional work, he is CEO of Equilibrare, a pioneering company in corporate health and wellness solutions, with recognized national reach, always observing technical, regulatory, and occupational safety criteria.
His career is widely recognized through significant honors, including the Tiradentes Medal and a Motion of Commendation, Applause, and Congratulations from the Rio de Janeiro State Legislative Assembly, the Glória do Esporte honor from SUDERJ, the Medal of the Order of Merit Scientia et Humanitas – Philippe Emmanuel Souchard, and the Templar Sword of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Arts, History and Literature.
